"Hi keven, The extra height you added and the change in shape changed my posture on the bike for the better as well as my foot position to the point that I can corner with more clearance and a lot more confidence. Because I'm sitting comfortably I can give my full attention to my riding rather than any discomfort so I'm riding a whole lot smoother and safer. Not only is the seat comfortable but I think it looks great- it's pretty much how I imagined it but better as a result of the extra details and ideas that you added. Thankyou so much for your patience and professionalism as well, I couldn't possibly be any happier with the result." All the best, Paul (Buzz) GSX1400.org "I am writing to thank Kev from VCM Cycle Seats for the outstanding seat modification he did for me. My wife kept sliding forward into my back under brakes on my ZX14. I found a picture on the net of a modified seat in the USA. Despite Kev only having this small one side picture to work with, I am so impressed with the result. Kev created a seat with two saddle like seating positions which has increased the comfort and stopped the pillion from sliding. Kev then topped it off with a new cover and decorative piping that has jaw dropping responses from onlookers. It really has given my bike that WOW factor. I would not hesitate to recommend VCM Cycle Seats to anyone looking for seat mods. I was very impressed with Kev and the quality workmanship. I wish Kev and VCM all the success for the future."
Cheers,
"Hi Kev, Rob Australian Hayabusa Club "After going to a mates 50th down in Nowra and then suffering from Get-home-itis because torrential downpour all the way back, the decision was made to visit Keven for some treatment to my XJR seat. After dropping the seat to Keven on the Saturday morning, he then inserted front and rear (got to keep the misses happy) gel inserts (refer to the photos on the website). I was pleasantly surprised to get a call Sunday morning to come and pick the seat up. (quick turnaround) The next decent ride was the Snowy Ride 2 weeks later. What a difference, it was like riding a completely different bike. The endurance level was defiantly raised and the whole "feel" that was happening now, is a lot more comfortable. I would without hesitation recommend to any rider to look at gel inserts. They don't move around or deflate like the air pads, they don't get wet and smell like sheepskin does and the way Keven installs them, they don't change the seating height. The price is top value and the workmanship is great. It defiantly adds comfort value as well as dollar value to your ride." Philxjr Aussie Street Fighters "Probably one of the best mods I have done to my 2010 Hayabusa so far was to get the stock seat modified by VCM. The difference it has made to both the appearance and comfort has been a big step forward. Keven did a fantastic job from start to finish to make sure I received exactly what I wanted. Everything from the selection of materials right through to the final finishing touches has been done with a lot of care and attention to make a product that I can be proud to own and show off. Thanks VCM!!!!
Paul
"I commissioned Kev to
rework a GSXR seat to suit my street fighter a few
months ago. I was a little hesitant about getting a seat
done interstate as I thought I would have no control
over the job as it progressed and could have ended up
with something that was completely different to what I
really wanted. How wrong could I be! Kev emailed me
detailed shots at every stage of the build to make sure
we were both on the same heading, tweaking and adjusting
the foam until it was just right. He also did the cover
numerous times to satisfy the perfectionist in me!! I
found Kev's workmanship to be absolutely top notch, the
customer service he provides is positively unheard of
these days and I have no hesitation in recommending him
and his work on custom seats." "My name is Boris and I own a 2010 Suzuki GSXR1000 and I have had a lot of additions to my bike but one of the best is my VCM Cycle Seats custom seat . My local bike shop put me onto Keven and after a brief phone call I was up at Kevens place looking at material samples and logos. It was only after about one hour that we had it all sorted out. Two weeks later I had my seat dropped off and a few days later Keven called me and I was up there picking it up. Soon as I saw it I was blown away, it was better than I thought. The pictures that Keven took of my new seat speak for them selves. All my mates are highly impressed with the look of the bike . Thanks again Keven for all your hard work."
Boris,
"Hi Kev,
Cheers! "For anyone with a seat comfort problems I would recommend Keven from VCM Cycle Seats.
He was able to turn my
Suzuki M50 seat from being a pain in the bum to a
pleasure to sit on.
"Needing a sheep skin for my
98 BMW R1100RT, I contacted Keven at VCM. Keven was very
accommodating in custom fitting the covers to the seats
on a weekend, not something you get from the bigger
outlets. With a welcome brew, Keven wasted no time
fitting the covers, even accommodating the need to have
a gel insert under the covers.
"I really wanted to make my
bike stand out from the crowd just a little more than
your standard VN 900 . I approached Keven from VCM Cycle
Seats and after 15 minutes we had the seat materials
picked out from an impressive range that Keven has to
choose from.
Thanks again,
"I would just like to
acknowledge Keven as a consummate professional and true
craftsman. I inherited my brothers bike after he passed
away following a short battle with cancer. I really
wanted to do something with his bike to commemorate our
love and honor his memory. "I love my new VCM sheepskin seat cover. I ordered it and it was at my office the next day by priority post. It is exceptional quality, fitting the seat perfectly and very thick. It has increased my comfort level on long trips, and even just commuting to work. I think it is superb quality and value for money and I would recommend one to anyone." Regards,
Kev knew exactly what I wanted, made expert suggestions on how to achieve the look I wanted, nothing was too hard for VCM.

I picked up a fully re-upholstered seat from Kev of VCM Cycle Seats a few months ago and I am very happy. The foam is even and comfortable and the
workmanship on the upholstery is great. I purchased a set of black sheepskin seat covers as a surprise for my husband to put on his Suzuki Hayabusa as the set he had previously shrunk to the stage where they would not fit the motorcycle seat. The process of ordering was so simple I couldn’t
believe it. I contacted Keven at VCM Cycle Seats via phone. Keven was so easy and friendly to talk to. He is very
knowledgeable on seat covers. We went through what I wanted, price (which was very affordable),
color, payment, delivery
etc.......I ordered a set immediately. I gave the package to my husband for him to open. Once we saw the thick plush black seat covers we were extremely happy. All that was left to do was fit them to the bike and try them out. How easy that was. They went on easily, fitted like a glove and the comfort they provided was astounding. Thanks Keven for the great service, friendly conversation and most of all for the fantastic seat covers. You have one very satisfied customer and one very surprised, satisfied recipient of your sheepskin seat covers. I would, and have done so already, highly recommend the sheepskin seat covers from VCM Cycle Seats. Kathy

"Italian bike seats can be hard to deal with. Get them wrong and the lines of the bike can be totally upset. Laverdas are the hardest of them all, especially dual seats for the early 750’s. There’s a few 750’s out there that just don’t look right because whoever was dealing with the seat simply didn’t understand how seat shape, style and construction is critical for the balance of the whole bike. Bad Fung Shui surely follows such mistakes. Working from just a brief half hour natter and a couple of low resolution images Keven came up with the ideal seat shape, embroidery graphics and style balance for my old ’68 American Eagle / Laverda 750 GT. On the bike the seat looks even better. Top skills, great workmanship, highly recommended, thanks mate."

"G'day Kev at VCM,
Thanks very again. "After spending time with Kev from VCM Cycle seats he had a clear idea of what we wanted the seat to look like. As a long time rider himself, Kev understands what's required to make a seat comfortable for long days in the saddle. He's also an artist with an eye for what looks right. After taking the cover off the stock seat Kev mocked up the foam shape and sent us a pic so we could make sure we were all on the same page. The memory foam he used is definitely firmer than stock but not overly hard. To allow Kev to show off his craft, we left the colour and material selection fairly broad, we'd already worked out the basic silhouette and had thrown a few ideas back and forth. The stitched and embroided front section is lower than stock but more than comfortable enough to soak up the miles. The memory foam is molding to my body- form and is getting more comfortable every time I ride it . The lower profile also changes the riding position an the reach to the bars. It's a bloody beauty. Cant comment on the pillion section other than saying we like the look of it. No one's sat on it yet. Kev delivered what we wanted in the agreed time frame at a bloody fair price. He's a one-man band who works some odd hours and is well worth talking to about your own seat. If you suffer duck's disease or have other special needs talk to him. He has the experience to fix your seat properly. All up, the work on the seat was $350 which is way too cheap but don't tell Kev I said that." RAPID MAGAZINE See the pics in our Media Section here "After purchasing a new top box for my Ducati ST2 I wanted to get a back pad for it, but didn’t know where to start looking. A search of the web led me to VCM Cycle Seats, so I went to Keven’s workshop and basically described to him what I wanted. He saw this as a challenge as he’d never done a back pad for a top box before, and came up with the suggestion of ‘tricolour’ stripes to dress up the ‘plain black’ (after all, it is my Italian Mistress).
He went to work on it
straight away and emailed the photo’s once he’d finished
it. What an awesome job. I couldn’t wait to see what it
looked like on the bike…the photos say it all. Thanks
Keven for a fantastic job which shows off your design
and manufacturing skills."
"Great job Keven!!!
"Hi my name is Kevin, "After too many years out of the saddle my first trip to Sydney (600 ks) took its toll on my soft arse. A quick visit to kev at VCM and two hours later I took possession of my seat covered in thick sheep skin, grey in color to match my 1250 bandit and made as a two piece it looks great on the bike. The ride home the next day was a far more enjoyable trip. After talking to Kev some reshaping will probably take place in the winter. Kevs work is top class and the right price. Recommend. Give him a try."
Russell Smith, "I could not be happier with the quality work produced by VCM. Kev went out his way to help build my custom busa/gsxr seat."
Thanks, "Big thanks to Kevin from VCM Cycle Seats. Seat design ad consultation was first class for a beautiful custom seat. Materials and craftsmanship was first class and so was the end result. I cant imagine the bike without the seats now. Just what I wanted and more. Anybody looking for a custom seat should talk to Kev his experience is immediately apparent."
Cheers

"Keven did a fantastic job
on my custom seat for the Z250 cafe project, could not
have been more happy with the way it looks, the quality
of the work and the help you provided. "Keven at VCM Cycle seats re-upholstered my Kawasaki Zxr 250 he also added foam and extra padding. It is just exceptional quality, fitting the seat perfectly and very thick. It has increased my comfort level on long trips, and even just commuting to work. I think it is superb quality and value for money and I would recommend one to anyone."
Brendan,
"Just a few words to say
thanks for the great job you did on my 750 Katana seat
Kev.
Anyone considering a
recover, I can highly recommend Kev's work.
Thanks again, "If you're looking for a more comfortable ride you can't go past VCM Cycle Seats sheepskin seat covers. My wife wanted one for the pillion seat and I thought what the heck, I'll get the pair, it was the right decision. I won't go back to a standard seat again; the extra padding in addition to the skin makes a BIG difference compared to a skin only cover. In addition, Kev is a pleasure to deal with, fast and pleasant communication with no hassles ever. Kev deserves the highest commendations for his customer service and quality of product, if you want what he has to sell than don't wait any longer..."

"I've been riding for a few years now and I was
looking for something to show my bikes individuality and to stand out from the crowd. Keven was able to provide this for me,
although my design was difficult to produce, he was able to come to the party and custom design my logos. "I had no idea what I needed or wanted, I knew that I needed something softer to sit on than the stock seat. Kev called me at a convenient time to discuss what would suit me best. I ordered a black sheepskin cover for my 04 Busa and it arrived the next day. The difference it makes on trips is incredible, its soft, thick and doesn't move around. Installation was simple and hassle free. Thanks Kev for your amazing work and fast delivery." Ryan Williams Australian Hayabusa Club
I have seen his work first hand and can confirm that it is is of the
highest standard whilst using premium materials. As the owner of a K8 Hayabusa I take pride in looks and originality.
Some of the designs that that I have seen by Kev at VCM are truly unique. If you are after new padding, original designs or are just restoring
your baby I can highly recommend VCM Cycle Seats." Chris Dries
